Sunset considered staying in Equestria for good, but she could not bear to leave her friends and her life on the other side; and abandoning Equestria was even harder to accept. Fortunately, although her friends each had their own views on what Sunset was doing in the other world, they were still willing to give her as much support as they could, and Sunset Shimmer was deeply grateful for it. She believed their friendship was unbreakable and strong enough to overcome any difficulty. But this also made her more anxious — that if something went wrong, her friends might suffer undeserved harm because of her. She worried that her actions might drag her innocent friends into trouble.
